1. It is important to design the positive and negative shapes of a composition so that the visual weight of each element is well balanced, and therefore more pleasing to the eye.

2. Representational shapes are shapes that are derive from specific subject matter strongly based on direct observation. Abstract shapes resemble real forms but are not strongly based on direct observation since they have been transformed reducing resemblance to the original source.

3. Some of the ways that emphasis can be achieved are: isolation, placement, and contrast.

4.The Human figures, bright clored figures seem to stand out.

5. When there are too many focal points your composition can become chaotic. The viewer might find it harder to grasp the meaning of your image.

6. Emphasis is especially important for graphic designers because it can be used to create focal points. These focal points can be used to smoothly direct the viewers eyes through the parts of your composition.

7. it depends on the message you are trying to send the viewer. . If you are trying to create a masterpiece then unity is definitely just slightly more important.
